Oh Aye Mr. Hari?

On the afternoon of 14 September, a courier returned the plaque which had been awarded to Johann Hari on winning the Orwell Prize for Journalism 2008. There was no note of explanation. The prize money (£2000) has also not been returned.

Ah, finally. My proof that Johann Hari is actually a sock-puppet of Julian Assange.

Has anybody ever seen them in the same room at the same time?

It’s mine and I’m not giving it back.

Rather than think that he is a greedy hypocrite and get angry, perhaps we should contemplate the idea that his dazzling career in journalism has left him (deservedly many would say) with so little money that he can’t afford to pay back £2000. There, that feels better already doesn’t it?

We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little bloggerses. Wicked, tricksy, false!
