That shocking Sarah Palin revelation!

September 15th, 2011 · 9 Comments

In it he will claim Mrs Palin had a one-night stand with basketball player Glen Rice, who went on to play for the Miami Heat, less than a year before marrying her husband Todd.

Single woman has sex.

I’m unconvinced that this will shock all that many Americans.

I am not saying she was a nun but this claim looks very suspect to me.

I’m not exactly sure how he could possibly know who Sarah Palin slept with a quarter of century ago.

Presumably Palin-derrangement syndrome is driving people to try to make sure she stays out of American political life. I would think the thinking behind this is not that she had sex but that she had cocaine-fueled sex with a Black man.

Isn’t that what “basketball player” is code for?

I assume the f*ckwit assumes her supporters are such red necks this will put them off.

So Much For Subtlety: Unfortunately, a small but not insignificant percentage of her supporters are in fact that bigoted. 14% of Americans disapprove of interracial marriage, and a good chunk of them would be Republicans.

    One basketball player?
    Pah!
    The whole basketball team?
Might put her out of the running for the US presidency but excellent credentials for head of the IMF.

” a good chunk of them would be Republicans.”

and a good chunk are unlikely to be given that few black Americans support the GOP:

Overall support vastly outdoes condemnation in any case, particularly with the younger generation.

Interesting that 10% of blacks also disapprove of inter-racial marriage.

    @Matthew,

Assuming that a significant proportion of Palin’s supporters are against mixed marriages, then those same supporters must be ignorant of the fact that Mrs. Palin’s husband (ie. Mr. Palin) is mixed race.

Matthew – “Unfortunately, a small but not insignificant percentage of her supporters are in fact that bigoted. 14% of Americans disapprove of interracial marriage, and a good chunk of them would be Republicans.”

What makes you think they would be Republicans? The party of the KKK, the only party to have elected a Grand Kleagle of the KKK, is the Democrats. Which is also the party of the poor. I assume most such people would be poor.
