Why should they? I used to work in Woking most of us could not afford to live there but there would loads of single mums who could have done nothing anywhere who got housing there.

It was perfectly clear which were Tim’s own comments, because he distinguished them by USING ITALICS and SIGNING THEM “TIM”. Since there was no ambiguity, why shouldn’t he use whatever kind of brackets he likes? Where does NEED come into it?

I think the main gap is between people in prison and children in care …the wrong way.

I think the main inequality problem is the difference in housing between workers and people on long term benefits. Often the later have a lot nicer housing and it does not seem very fair.
