I am sorry to say it – but Ms Horlick’s flagship fund looks like toast. Maybe there is sufficient secondary market in the private equity funds for the fund to survive – but I doubt it.

At uni (nearly ten years ago) our Business Crimes lecturer said that all these star investment mangers come a cropper in the end (the topic du jour was Peter Young).
I asked whether Supermum would ever fall on her well padded behind and was reminded that they all come a cropper in the end. In this case, it was well worth the wait.
