The problem with all these calls for more regulation is that we can prove that some of those making the regulations are idiots.

    If you want to prove the regulators aren’t idiots you’ll need some kind of regulatory body for the regulators. And then a regulator body for them too, ad finitum.

    Or we could just vote out the mob who created the first level of regulators and get a different mob in, who may or may not do a better job. But there would be less energy expended than in creating more and more levels of regulation.
