At the ASI.

I worry about Oxfam. They seem to be holding up Gandhi as an example of global co-operation. When, of course, as an economic nationalist, he was actually against such global co-operation.

    Gandhi was also of the opinion that it would somehow ennoble the Jews if they did not resist their enslavement and eradication at the hands of the Nazis. Anyone who can hold such a repellent position is not my first choice when looking for moral guidance. Gandhi was bloody lucky it was the British he was standing up to. Just about any other nation would have had him shot on the spot. It was only our relatively benign methods of governance that permitted him to be such a total douchebag.

    A very ordinary (but influential) hypocrite. Though publicly and loudly opposed to “western” medicine, he nonetheless sought western-medicine treatment (secretly) when stricken with appendicitis. “Do as I say…etc.”
