Yes, that story appeared in the local press, there’s at least one surfing dog here too. However I shall, this very day and in the interests of this blog only of course, go down to the beach -a mere hundred yards from the house - shoulder my way through the bikini-clad smarties and take a look for myself. After an hour or two of that I’ll settle down with a cebiche and an iced scoop (Pilsen Callao preferably) in some convivial restaurant knowing that my sacrifice has been worthwhile.
